Program areas at Berea Faith Community Outreach
The Berea food bank provides to families and persons in several ways. We provided: 1) a week's worth of nutritionally balanced groceries to 2,929 families by which we provided more than 164,000 meals. 2) groceries to five organizations feeding homeless and low-income individuals in Berea. 3) food in partnership with the Berea police department as well as other non-profit organizations.
The frank gailey transient fund provided assistance with transportation, lodging and food to 48 individuals with emergency needs while through Berea ky.
Buurr(bereans united for utility and rent relief) provided emergency rent and utility assistance to a total of 235 households.
