Beth Morrison Projects (BMP)

Bmp commissions,develops and produces contemporary music-theatre works in the form of opera,musical, song cycle, dance, theatre, film, mixed media works, and new forms yet to be discovered. Bmp encourages risk taking artists by creating a structure for the development of new works via experimentation. In the 2022-2023 season, bmp produced the world premieres of three new pieces of opera-theatre, as well as four touring engagements of existing works. Additionally,bmp commissioned and workshoped seven pieces set to premiere in future seasons.

Bmp administered bmp: producer academy, a professional training programfor early-career creative and tour producers. Students were selected from a competitive applicant pool to receive eight weeks of tuition-free training in artistic development, bugeting, pitching, fundraising, production and tour management, and other core skills, while networking with leading industry professionals.
