Program areas at Better Angels United
The organization is taking a holistic approach in tackling homelessness in Los Angeles, leveraging innovation and pragmatic solutions in five areas; prevention, housing, services, shelter, and technology. Since inception, Better Angels has focused on developing distinct programs around these areas to assist those on the precipice of, or already experiencing, homelessness. The short-term eviction protection fund (STEP) began operations in 2022 as part of prevention and its programming is ongoing. Most of the other areas remained in an incubation phase during 2023.
