Beverley Street Studio School

To fulfill its mission, the organization provides arts education and programing to the general public and its membership, provides a place for professional and amateur artists to practice, learn, exhibit, and expose our community to the world of visual arts. Since 1992, it had become an integral part of the local cultural community. The School distinguishes itself from other art prganizations in the region by offering year round non-degree college-level art classes to the serious art student.in addition to the core curriculum and as a part of the School's mission to make art accessible to everyone in the community, the organization offers: an art gallery with rotating exhibits by guest artists, instructors and students, several offsite exhibit opportunities, a high level travel student program, the queen city plein air festival, open session figure drawing,and numerous free community programs including monitored art discussions, lectures, and peer critiques. Their gallery extends the educational and cultutral mission of the School by presenting diverse, enriching,and challenging exhibitions to students and the community and provides a venue for its students to show their work, representing the high quality art classes and programs that the organization offers.
