Bexar County Medical Library Association provides an historical Medical Library for the advancement of the science and art of medicine. The Library provides a charitable venue for use by non-profit entities for co-sponsorship of conferences, symposiums and other medically related educational programs. Programs include women in medicine program and the physician badging program. The Library also provides continuing Medical education (cme) to member physicians at general membership meetings along with opportunities to meet together in physician committees to guide its membership and the community in areas like public health, emergency preparedness, physician wellness, ethics, physician-patient issues and physician health and rehabilitation.
