Beyond the Known International

Beyond the Known provided all its grants to Foundation BTK Costa Rica, a private Foundation formed in Costa Rica. The Foundation provided 180,000 meals to over 365 poverty-stricken families including 850 children through 6 feeding center partnerships. Additionally, they delivered over 5,200 food bags to more than 12 communities across the Northern Pacific region of Costa Rica with 8 distribution partners. The pre-natal program served over 150 mothers in three pregnancy centers. The Foundation provided leadership training to over 1,500 community and business leaders through partnerships with John Maxwell Team Transformation. The Foundation also provided leadership training for 560 high school students partnering with John Maxwell Team International Youth initiative. The Foundation provided the supplies and materials necessary to assist in constructing an education and community resource building for a church to serve as a hub for community connection and outreach (over 120 families reached in two communities). The Foundation partnered with schools and educational centers to restore and recondition buildings for children to have quality learning space (450 children positively impacted).
