Program areas at Big 33 Scholarship Foundation
One of our missions and exempt purposes is to produce the premier high school all-star game in the united states. The Big 33 football classic is a high school all-star football game played annually in hershey, Pennsylvania.
Higher education scholarships were awarded to qualifying individuals in the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland. During the year ended december 31, 2014, the Foundation paid out scholarships of $70,000.
The Big 26 baseball classic is a series of baseball games played overfour days and is comprised of high school rising sophomores and juniorsfrom Pennsylvania and Maryland. The Big 26 buddy program has specialneeds children with many different disabilites. Players participatewith their buddy in a challenger game. This gives buddies anopportunity to be part of a team, and for most of them, play on abaseball field for the first time. The Big 26 baseball classicincludes over 100 people such as players, coaches, buddies, hostfamilies and many volunteers. It is the Big 26's goal to promotescholar athletes and help them develop their skills on and off thefield as both players and individuals.
