Program areas at Big Sky Chamber of Commerce
A major strategic focus for the Big Sky Chamber is advocating for our 500 members in and around Big Sky, Montana. As a chamber of commerce, we're involved in several actions to support the business economy and community of Big Sky. Business engagement with trainings, events, and benefits are key components of our work. The development of a leadership program for our community and workforce sustainability are all key initiatives that we focus on.
The Big Sky Chamber's annual meeting speaks to the year ahead, recognizes member businessesX and individual professionals' achievements, and facilitates the election of the new board members and officers. Business owners are able to visit with each other, discuss strategy, and receive new ideas that can help their Big Sky business succeed.
Another pillar of the Big Sky Chamber is to facilitate local governance and public affairs. Our bi-annual eggs and issues meeting addresses critical community concerns along with convening the two local county government entities who oversee these issues. The coordinating council of Big Sky was created to bring together key community leaders, administered by the Big Sky Chamber, to ensure that everyone is working together to implement the community strategic plan. Also, a community building forum was established to address the matters that arise from community growth and to keep residents informed of these items.
