Bike Miami Valley Ohio advocates, promotes, and creates opportunities for all forms of bicycling in the Miami Valley. They host a biennial cycling summit held in different locations throughout the region to drive economic development through cycling. The Regional Advocacy Committee (RAC) supports pro-cycling initiatives within local and regional areas, with chapters in Centerville, Piqua, Yellow Springs, and Springfield.

Program areas at Bike Miami Valley Ohio

Primary program is the link Bike share program, which maintained 38 Bike sharing hubs within the dayton, Ohio metro area. Link Bike share program users took more than 50,000 trips in 2023.
Third program is the Miami Valley cycling summit, which is held biennially. The 2023 event was held in the city of dayton and hosted 160+ attendees. The cycling summit's mission is to aim to use the power of cycling to drive economic development in communities both large and small throughout the region. This year's keynote speaker was andy williamson, director of outdoor economic and community development of the smith outdoor economic collaborative. Mr. williamson spoke to attendees about supporting west Virginia's efforts to attract and retain talent and build stronger, more vibrant outdoor economies and communities. Other cycling summit topics covered regional trails plan updates, examples of innovative local infrastructure and cycling safety.
Second program is regional advocacy committee ("rac"). Through rac, Bike Miami Valley supported various important pro-cycling initiatives within local and regional areas. Local rac chapters, comprised of centerville, piqua, yellow springs, kettering, springfield and dayton, groups held multiple in-person and virtual events promoting bicycle advocacy and education.
