Discover Tour:Showcases the best of our state, including beautiful parks, diverse neighborhoods, local businesses and cultural, architectural and scenic highlights. Ride proceeds will help fund our advocacy and education work to make Connecticut a better place to bike and walk.
Summit: The Connecticut Bike Walk Summit brings together people from across Connecticut to get the latest biking and walking updates from around the state, to learn how to make our communities more bike and walk friendly, to network and to socialize.
Complete Streets: Bike Walk CT is helping make it safer and easier to walk and bike by implementing "complete streets" in cities and towns across Connecticut. The project promotes statewide implementation of policies and actions to promote healthy lifestyles.
Bike to Work Day: This event encourages bike commuting. Over 600 people pledged to bike to work on Bike to Work day and celebrations were held across the state.
NACTO Workshop:The workshop is for planners, engineers and public works professionals in state and local government, RPOs, and the private sector. The workshop focuses on the NACTO Urban Bikeway Design Guide, which provides cities and towns with state-of-the-practice solutions that can help create streets that are safe and enjoyable for people bicycling.
Advocacy and Education: Bike Walk CT supported Senate Bill 502 related to fines for motorists who kill or injure vulnerable road users.
