Program areas at Birthright of Walla
Birthright readily provides baby bags to expectant mothers providing blankets, baby outfits, shampoo, lotion, onesies, wipes and diapers. We stock and maintain an assortment of maternity clothes, baby clothes and essentials to give to any woman in need. In addition, Birthright reserves funds for urgent and unexpected needs that may arise in pregnancy, delivery and taking baby home. For example, a common request is providing a new car seat for taking the baby home.
Birthright uses a variety of strategies to be positive and present in our community. We use funds to maintain a traveling booth for outreach events in our town. Displays, brochures, pins and educational visuals help our team chat with people to share what we have to offer. We fund a local billboard sign and are very active in using social media to tell our community the services Birthright provides.
Birthright offers free and confidential pregnancy tests to any woman. Our goal is to listen, show compassion, demonstrate care and respect for each individual - mother and baby. In addition, a client can be given referrals to outside agencies to help suport them and their pregnancy.
