Program Service AccomplishmentsAt Bit-By-Bit, our version is to help people with special needs reach their full potential by providing healing programs with the help of the horse.This year was an amazing year of growth and development at Bit-By-Bit. Our accomplishments in 2024 include:1- Provide 6225 therapy sessions to children with special needs, using the horses movement as a part of the session.2-Partnered with the Marion Center School in September to instruct 10 adult students with Delayed Development vocational training and basic horsemanship skills 1x a week for 6 week sessions three times a year.3- Started our Horses for heroes program to disable veterans.4- Further developed our volunteer program by providing 24 new volunteer orientations and various advances workshops and trainings.5- Provided an extensive cross training program for all of our equine partners as well as continuing education for our licensed Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists.6- Provided dozens of allied health internships for students from many colleges and universities, both in and out of state.
