Black Cowboy Coalition builds and strengthens communities by exposing youth and adults to immersive programs and experiences within the Agricultural Industry. They launched a Black Cowboy Search Directory online, listing over 200 small & local barns, ranches, and equine organizations offered free to the public and accessible online to the international community. In September of 2021, they launched with a functional website and social media sites open to the public.

Program areas at Black Cowboy Coalition

Cowboy Apprentice Program: Our organization was able to assist a young aspiring bull rider, and calf roper in his field - helping to feed, provide supplies for the young rider and his livestock.
Community Outreach Program: Community event in South Gate, CA - Exposing community to horsemanship culture. Day on the ranch event including horse/horseman education, community education, horse riding lessons, food, and entertainment free to community. Community Immersion Event in Oakland, CA: Oakland National Night Out - Brought the barn to the community, providing education on horses, horsemanship, cowboy culture, mental health, and health related programming.
Educational video filming in Oklahoma - Filmed cattle drive, and livestock transportation onsite. Videos related to Oklahoma event have been released for public education and provides a real-time educational view into the cattle industry.
Creation of an Agricultural and Construction Program in Oakland, CA. Developed partnerships with construction apprentice schools, and agricultural instructors to launch quarterly horsemanship, and cattle handing clinics quarterly.
