The Black Heart Association strives to be the conduit between the black community and heart health. They promote healthy hearts by advocating for people of color, primarily in underserved communities where there is little or no access to proper screening and healthcare. Their mission is to significantly lower the number of Black deaths caused by heart disease and stroke each year, empowering others to become advocates. In 2022, their Mobile Heart Health Unit attended 57 community events, providing 3,968 heart health screenings and healthcare services at no cost to 1,253 individuals.
