Mover mirabai miller and carl travel to create with the company in st. louis for two weeks. Swede hollow ghost sonata project - performances for three weekends in downtown st. paul. Collaboration with sod house theater bringing together actors and dancers for a walking tour creating a magical and personal immersive experience for the audience. Bodystorming - physical sciences - oncology networks annual meeting. Full day-long bodystorming workshops with the scientists. Performed hit, a modest proposal, and morituri te salutant. Hosted a bodystorming systems workshop with umn president joan gabel.tour to gainesville Florida - full company tour to perform at the phillips center for the performing arts and teach at the university of Florida. Full evening performance and a student matinee as well as multiple workshops led for students at the university of Florida and santa fe college. In this house - living light project - first installment of the living light project - an ongoing collaboration between sound and media artist and longtime Black Label Movement collaborator greg brosofske. This project is dedicated to exploring the use of new media technologies in Movement performance. It uses live interactive video imagery that responds to the dancers movements in real time. Carl flink and mover sarah mccullough performed this work. Bodystorming - measuring value: counting the uncounted event at the weisman art museum. Black Label Movement led a bodystorming session with the participants of this event that was created to explore how we assign monetary value to invaluable things like art, care and the environment. Workshop with eddie oroyan and jessica eirado enes - company partnering workshop with long time artistic associate eddie oroyan and jessica eirado enes who were in town from abroad to lead an intensive for the company. Apap - booking dance festival in new york, ny - performed for apap showcase at jazz at lincoln center for booking dance festival. Company tour to nyc. Performed excerpts from this bleeding heart and hit. Matt wilson music video - Black Label Movement dancers performed in matt wilson's newest music video with his orchestra for when i was a writer. Boystorming - cancer and the human body at the science museum of Minnesota - bodsytorming systems session with collaborator david odde. Move monday - new project spearheaded by social media manager, joey weaver. All company movers answered questions about their typical monday and recorded Movement in their quarantined spaces to show how we are all moving during the pandemic. Rehearsals for patreon launch - wearing masks and physical distancing - we safely rehearsed movers and recorded phrases work for a launch of a new platform on patreon.
