BPCCA hosted Boots & Diamonds Dance Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 8:00pm-12:00pm at the Humble Civic Center 8233 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble Texas. The purpose of this event provided an opportunity to expose and recruit potential volunteers for the 2015 year. (Attendance 400 people)
BPCCA hosted a College Prep Forum at Roland P. Harris Elementary School | 1262 Mae Street | Houston, TX 77026. Saturday, June 20, 2015 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. College Prep Forum was held for students that received 2015 BPCCA Scholarships. Students participated in a learning and development seminar. A panel of professional people and current college students shared their personal experiences and provided valuable coaching tips that will help students identify college majors and make smooth transition from high school to college life. (Attendance: 11 scholarship recipients, 18 parents and 6 moderators).
"Heritage Day" was held Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 12:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Humble Civic Arena 8233 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble Texas. "Heritage Day" consisted of a rodeo and concert; designed to bring families together in an atmosphere of tradition and fun. "Heritage Day" theme was centered on the importance of remembering cultural heritage and to strengthen family traditions. (Attendance 900 people)
BPCCA hosted Awards Gala at Brady's Landing Restaurant 8505 Cypress Street Houston, Texas Sunday, June 28, 2015 6:00p.m. The purpose of the Awards Gala is to recognize and celebrate accomplishments of 11 graduating high school students who excelled academically and two (2) individuals whose pioneering contributions were outstanding and unique, and whose efforts "Blazed-A-Trail" in the community. They were recognized as BPCCA Trail Blazers. (Attendance 150 people)
