Fiscal sponsorship of grant funds and related administrative tasks for TCUP, a long-time BSN entity member, in support of its Gangstas to Growers program for formerly incarcerated young adults to be trained in agri-business.
Climate.
The Black Sustainability Summit is an annual conference for BSN members and other members of the African diaspora focused on sustainability and community building. Student researchers (SBSR) get involved to make the event a success.
Administrative and coordination support to the City of Atlantas Clean Energy Advisory Board NPU community representatives sub-committee. 2022 project outcomes included an increase in awareness within the 6 highest energy burdened NPUs via presentations/workshops/trainings about the City of Atlantas Clean Energy Plan, community members becoming SME on clean energy for neighbors, the creation of youth ambassadors program, energy audits for legacy residents, and started developing a plain language NPU CEAB Clean Energy Plan Summary report.
