Blue Grass Resource Center

In 2019, the organization purchased the historic highland inn in monterey Virginia and began a preservation project. Renovation of the exterior of the building began in 2020. In 2021, phase i of the project was completed on the exterior of the building. During 2022, Blue Grass Resource Center has been engaged in many planning activities, including updating its renovation funding strategy, creating financial operational projections, exploring operator possibilities, and continued fine tuning architectural plans. Over 2000 area residents benefit from the preservation of historic buildings.
