Blue Rising Together

Colorado marijuana policy is used as a model for other states considering marijuana policies, and the objective in 2020 was to begin to engage in educational efforts to ensure Colorado policies are based in science. We coordinated with other groups and organizations, including experts in the field, to evaluate and compile a library and summaries of existing research relating to marijuana health impacts, particularly impacts connected to high thc products. We also began holding educational meetings of small groups to discuss research and policy options. Lastly, we lobbied the Colorado general assembly for better marijuana regulations.
