Bluff Country Family Resources

In the most recent organizational fiscal year, Bluff Country Family Resources (bcfr) staffed the office location during regular business hours and provided 365 days of our 24-hour, toll-free crisis line, which connects victims/survivors with a trained advocate anytime they call. The services we provide include: emergency hotel/motel stays for survivors fleeing violence, personal and legal advocacy from our staff advocates, who assist survivors in completing orders for protection, court accompaniment, safety planning, and provision of basic need items, support groups for survivors of violence, information and referrals for other Resources in our area to create more well-rounded care for clients, community education about domestic violence and sexual assault through presentations with local organizations, schools, and groups, support for Family and friends of survivors to help them better understand and assist a survivor through their situation, and assistance in acquiring a safe address through Minnesota's safe at home program for folks who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence. In the 2022-2023 fiscal year, bcfr assisted 250 individuals with 10,583 services.
