In the 2022/23 year we partnered with San Diego Guild of Puppetry to do a free summer camp for around 100 elementary school students. Our Boc?n was contracted to lead all curriculum and coordination of four two week camps in four different venues all over San Diego. All the camps were bilingual and focused on mesoamerican folktales. We ran our 9th year of year-round arts residencies at Balboa Elementary for about 500 students and22 classrooms in Theatre, dance and visual art. We produced M?a in it's original language of Spanish as well as the English translation for 10 performances in Barrio Logan's Woodbury School of Architecture and Design. We had two readings for new plays for family audiences in development, both to sold out audiences that represented the same community and demographics in the stories themselves: Filipino youth and military families.
