Program areas at Bodega Land Trust
Baseline and monitoring program - reviews each easement property on site once a year (or more if necessary) to monitor compliance with easement provisions. The program recruits volunteers and trains them to do the baseline monitoring. The program also creates the baseline for all new easements along with mapping and narration, and easement restrictions and allowances. The entire community benefits from this program.
Walks and Talks - a series of walks and lectures led by local naturalists and other experts concerning environmental interests of the local area including lambing, wildflowers, wildfire protection, birding, geology, and archaeology. These walks and talks are open to, and benefit, all members of the community and surrounding areas.
Board and volunteers produce and publish a printed journal and regular e-notes - both are viewable on the website and are either sent by electronic mail (email) or by US mail through the post office. A webmaster handles the web page. Other Publications inform the community and all members of the Bodega Land Trust. httpbodegalandtrustorgindexphpcom... Some publications are emailed/mailed to all members of the Bodega Land Trust."
