Program areas at Boise State University Foundation
The Foundation administers 985 different academic scholarships for Boise State University. Applicants may be required to write an essay, provide transcripts, and if applying for scholarships requiring financial need applicants must include the Free Application for Federal Student Aid report (FAFSA). Other requirements may be included, depending on the scholarship. During fiscal year end June 30, 2023, the Foundation distributed 2,500 scholarship awards to 1,600 recipients.
The Foundation provides general support for Boise State University through both endowment and current use funds. Some highlights for the fiscal year end June 30, 2023 include the continued support for all academic colleges, computer science and Engineering, STEM, Health Sciences, research in public policy, education, Arts and Sciences, College of Innovation and Design, and other various support programs at Boise State University.
The Foundation provides support services for both the Bronco Athletic Association and the BSU Alumni Association. This includes, but is not limited to, member lists, data entry and updates, financial support through donation receipts, reporting, and other ad hoc services as they are needed such as managing registration for events.
