Science - 1) engagement with the science community in support of Boreal forest conservation; 2) development of reports and other materials to demonstrate the importance of canada's Boreal forest and approaches to conserving it.

Education: education and outreach to individuals, businesses and ngos on the importance of canada's Boreal forest and the need to conserve it.

Communications: expanded media coverage of canada's Boreal forest including op-eds; newspaper, magazine, and journal articles; broadcast media; and social media. Themes covered include the benefits of indigenous-led conservation, with an emphasis on indigenous protected and conserved areas and indigenous guardians; the need for conserving canada's biological diversity, especially within the context of the convention on biological diversity; and the need for mining reform, focused on british columbia.
