Boston Ten Point Coalition

The community cluster initiative is the evolution of the organization's strategy to develop and engage faith-based organizations and community-based agencies in direct community intervention. The organization develops collaborations among pastors, ministers and lay-leaders, community leaders, law enforcement, public schools, and residents to work together to effectively engage with the youth and residents of these communities, especially the high risk youth. This type of collaboration builds leadership and accountability and allows for the creation of a multi-layered and multi-faceted approach to violence prevention and reduction. It also creates efficiencies by synergizing resources already in the community.
