Program areas at Boy Scouts of America - 306 Ozark Trails Council
This program for boys and girls begins with lion cubs in kindergarten and ends with webelos Scouts at the end of 5th grade. The program provides each cub scout with the adult family role models needed to give Scouts a values-packed program that will pull families closer together rather than apart. This fun-filled educational program will help boys and girls develop knowledge, understanding, and important leadership skills that will remain with them for their entire lifetime.
Venturing/career exploring: venturing is a challenging outdoor alternative youth development program made up of young men and women who have completed the 8th grade and are between the ages of 13 and 21. Exploring is a worksite-based program geared to help young men and women 14-20 years of age to locate and explore a potential lifelong career.
This is a program for boys and girls ages 11-18 years of age. The program provides an exciting, fun-filled and challenging outdoor high adventure program that will place our young people in positive situations, giving them a significant alternative in which to spend their time and energy. Physical and mental fitness, the building of good character, self-esteem and good social skills are just a few of the byproducts or goals of this program.
