Greater Niagara Frontier Council Boy Scouts of America fosters leadership, encouragement, and programs that benefit young people. Emphasis is placed upon practicing the principles of the Scout Oath and Law in daily life to instill ethical and moral decision-making skills for a lifetime. They promote scouting to empower around 5,300 youth with scoutcraft training, citizenship, leadership, self-esteem, and personal fitness. General program - to promote the scouting program - the ability of youth, young men & women to do things for themselves and others; training them in scoutcraft, citizenship, leadership, self-esteem, and personal fitness. Approximately 5,400 served. Program returned to in-person format as state-imposed restrictions related to the novel coronavirus pandemic were essentially lifted.
Activities - to provide a community wide support structure to assist all volunteer adult leaders in providing meaningful special events that inspire and educate Scouts beyond the resource of the local unit.
