Program areas at Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Indiana Corridor
Our core purpose is to serve as many kids as effectively as possible, through impactful programs and supportive relationships. In 2023, we served 3,288 unique youth through our before and after school and summer programs. We expanded our reach to operate 27 Club sites across st. joseph county, cass county, and white county in partnership with 12 school districts. We collaborated with a local school district to open success academy bgc, a k-5 microschool within our flagship site, and opened a new teen center in downtown south bend. We continued to expand to areas there is a lack of after school providers and where we can have the most impact. Our workforce of 299 focused on literacy and math fluency programs to combat pandemic learning loss, as well as emotional well-being and college and workforce readiness programs to prepare kids for successful futures. Our vision is to continue to grow to reach more children and teens, elevate our impact, and sustain our mission to ensure success is within reach of every child.
