Program areas at Boys and Girls Clubs of Contra Costa

Provide afterschool programs for club members & other community youth between the ages of 6 and 18. Afterschool programs include triple play (sports, leadership and nutrition), youth of the year teaching leadership and public speaking skills, money matters - teaching financial literacy, media makers - developing and sponsoring youth led podcasts, stem - teaching youth the science behind how thing work, including access to 3d printing, graphic arts and nasa space station.
Workforce development - provide immersive workforce development experiences to explore careers in engineering, medical sciences, construction and finance.
Summer youth program - provides enrichment activites to reduce out of school loss of learning, field trips, robotics, daily meals ect.
