Program areas at BIADE
The Brain Injury Association of Delaware Iin, (BIADE) offers monthly support groups throughout the year. Two (2) are held in person and Three (3) are held virtually. They are open to all people with brain injuries, their caregivers, family and friends. BIADE's support group are dynamic and interactive, rich and insightful and support input from all. In 2023, the organization held 24 virtual support group meetings and 36 in person group meetings.
The Brain Injury Association of Delaware Inc. (BIADE) has a resource line dedicated to answering questions, sharing resources, and connecting survivors and their caregivers to much needed referrals. The service allows survivors and their families to be connected to the resources they need.
The Brain Injury Association of Delaware Inc. (BIADE) hosts a Survivor and Caregiver Appreciation Luncheon to celebrate survivors and honor their caregivers. Awards are presented for the volunteer of the year, caregiver of the year and top organization supporter. This event also offers access to resources through vendor support.
Other program expenses include management expense, advertising to increase awareness, and expense to send the President and Vice President to the National conference held by the Brain Injury Association of America.
