Biapa coordinates a two-day conference designed for professionals, survivors, family members, caregivers and volunteers. This signature event provides opportunities for professionals, survivors, and caregivers to learn and network and for professionals to earn ceus. A significant portion of the survivor and caregiver participants are able to attend thanks to scholarships provided by the organization and generous donors.
The Association maintains several grants that are primarily used to provide community awareness, education and training programs for individuals with Brain Injury and for people who may come into contact with individuals with Brain Injury; school re-entry programs for students with Brain Injury; assistance to consumers with Brain Injury; and to assist individuals with traumatic Brain Injury in completing the head Injury program application.
