Breakfast Program at St Andrews

Presently, the Breakfast Program at St. Andrew's serves about 90 people each morning. This number fluctuates from day-to-day. Prior to COVID, The Breakfast Program served about 150-200 people each morning. During Covid, when all meals were served outdoors regardless of weather, that fell to about 45 people a day. In 2023, the Breakfast program returned to serving clients indoors, after serving outdoors, with a reduced menu, during the COVID lock-down. Since returning indoors in November 2023, the number served has increased and is now serving, as noted, about 90 people on any given morning. We anticipate that the number of people served will continue to increase in 2024. Improvements to the kitchen used by the Breakfast at St. Andrew's, that were mandated by the Washtenaw County Health Department's pre-re-opening inspection, serendipitously enabled The Breakfast to expand its food offerings as it returned indoors.
