Program areas at Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio
Grantmaking: distribute grants to organizations throughout Ohio that help women and men coping with the day-to-day challenges of living while being treated for Breast Cancer. Funds are used to provide emergency living expenses (rent, utilities, food), transportation, child care and more. These monies helped over 2,000 Breast Cancer patients at various stages of the disease.
Patient navigation: direct Breast Cancer patients and their families to information about Breast Cancer and resources in their community that can help them with financial assistance for food, transportation, child care, utilities and more during treatment. Women and men with Breast Cancer call our patient navigation center to find resources that will help them through the crisis at 216-255-3850 or they can email

Education and client outreach: representatives for the Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio attend health fairs, city events, trade shows and other public events to promote the organization's mission of helping Ohio Breast Cancer patients with the day-to-day challenges of living while being treated for Breast Cancer and educate visitors about the impact of Breast Cancer on Ohio residents and their families.
