Program areas at Brevard County Farm Bureau
We participated in Farm City Week which is a national event that brings together farmers, ranchers, fruit growers, public leaders and urban businessmen and women. This coalition project is a means to educate the public about our organizations purpose and mission.
We hold a legislative luncheon whose purpose is agricultural awareness of legislative issues facing our industry. We bring local, state, and federal legislatures together to discuss upcoming issues impacting agriculture along with our members.
Brevard County Farm Bureau supports the local 4-H programs through the poultry program. We sponsored market projects and provided farm tour opportunities to students. The farm tours allowed for students to connect with local farmers and ranchers and gain an appreciation for agriculture.
