Brevard County Farm Bureau promotes, protects and represents the educational, social and business interests of farmers of the county and enhances the future of agriculture. The organization supports the local 4-H programs through the poultry program by sponsoring market projects and providing farm tour opportunities to students. Furthermore, they participate in Farm City Week which is a national event that brings together farmers, ranchers, fruit growers, public leaders and urban businessmen and women to educate the public about their purpose.

Program areas at Brevard County Farm Bureau

We participated in Farm City which is a national event that brings together farmers, ranchers, fruit growers, public leaders and urban businessmen and women. This coalition project is a means to educate the public about our organizations purpose and mission.
Each year Brevard County Farm Bureau partners to host a legislative luncheon. We invite local, state and federal legislatures to hear from their constituents about issues impacting agriculture. These programs allow us to educate lawmakers on the legislative issues facing the agriculture industry.
This year Brevard County Farm Bureau was asked to participate in an agricultural advisory committee along with other agricultural partners. Brevard County School board has decided to bring agriculture to our public middle and high schools. We hope this program will bring awareness of the importance of agriculture in our community and work towards the betterment of those engaged in agriculture.
