Bridges Outreach bridges communities, schools and churches through programs that feed, tutor, mentor, employ and provide affordable housing to youth and their families. Bridges homes empower families through housing counseling and wrap-around services while increasing homeownership in Kokomo. Each home is sold at 80% of the appraised value. The Bridges-to-college program serves high school students by offering homework help, college visits, and assistance to prepare for post-secondary education.

Program areas at Bridges Outreach

The after school program provides a safe and positive place for students to be during after school hours when many students are unsupervised. The program provides a snack, helps with homework and teaches about character.
Bridges homes increases homeownership in kokomo by providing affordable housing and empowering families through housing counseling and wrap-around services. Every home Bridges rehabs will be sold at below appraised value and we desire to sell them to families who financially qualify. During 2023, 5 homes were completed for families.
Mentored and provided leadership experences and employment opportunities, including youth summit, fca, retreats, and service projects.
Bridges-to-college serves high school students with the purpose of ensuring that each of our students has a chance to go to some type of post-secondary education. This program offers homework help and college visits, as well as assistance to students and their families with the college application process.
