Bright by Text

Bright By Text was developed to deliver bite-sized and developmentally- targeted doses of our curated research-based curriculum right to cell phones of parents and caregivers at no cost. Each message contains a concept, resource or activity, and links to a landing page with more detail and examples, related resources, and many include a short modeling video. Text messages are targeted to the age and developmental stage of the child. The program also provides targeted local content, based on the caregiver's zip code. Bright By Text currently serves caregivers in all 50 states with expert research-based content as well as relevant localized messages. During 2023, bbt has contracts with 92 entities and served 217,700 families.

In Colorado, Bright By Text provides free curriculum in both english and spanish for parents and caregivers with children under three years old. The materials contain accurate, research-based information, tools, and resources to help parents and caregivers give their child the best start in life. Colorado partners meet parents and caregivers at home, at work, at the pediatrician's office, in groups or at any community setting of their choice.
