Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences(PACES)program seeks to increase awareness and community engagement to mitigate the impact of adverse childhood experiences. Stressful events in the life of a child that can have life-long negative impacts well into adulthood and increase awareness of positive childhood experiences that build resilience for children, youth, and families in our communities.
The Parenting Program provides parenting classes, education, and coalition building around parenting supportive systems to increase resilience in our parents and caregivers. The Parenting Program increases opportunities for stronger networks to support children, youth, and families in our region.
Appalachian Connect Resource Navigation is a new class of employee benefits that connect workers with personalized resources and ongoing support so life challenges do not keep them from bringing their best selves to work. This sustainable workforce model decreases absenteeism, improves workers financial stability, and ultimately increases employee retention and engagement by offering personalized, human-to-human assistance when workers need it most.
