Brittingham Foundation

The Britt Foundation's mentoring program aims to foster strong interpersonal relationships between mentors and mentees that provide motivation, inspiration, and guidance to help mentees achieve their goals. The program encourages mentors to connect with mentees on a meaningful level by spending quality time together to build trust.

The Britt Foundation Scholarship honors the memory of SO1 Christopher Brittingham by providing college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate passion for helping others, as Christopher did through his involvement in programs like Young Life. The scholarship seeks to support students who are making a positive difference in their communities, in alignment with Christopher's legacy of service and his desire to help young people reach their full potential. Through this scholarship program, the Britt Foundation aims to encourage and assist students who share Christopher's spirit of compassion and commitment to improving the lives of others. During the reporting period, the organization granted scholarships to 5 students to assist with their college expenses.

During the reporting period, The Britt Foundation supported 6 nonprofit organizations, focusing on those that provide youth mentorship through programs combining faith-based teachings with physical fitness. Specifically, the supported programs incorporate Christian teachings and fellowship into their youth development initiatives, while fostering perseverance and leadership through outdoor and physical activities. The foundation's goal is to develop future leaders who can continue the cycle of mentorship, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of youth development.
