Program areas at Broadway Training Center of Westchester
-fall ensemble 2022 served 30 children and teens in the program. This performance of the pirates of penzance, by gilbert and sullivan, allowed us to teach children and teens the nuance of musical theatre through a popular musical. Students were combined for all grades (4-12), where the younger students learn from the older ones, and they work together to put on a stellar, large-scale production, and were a part of the program from september through december 2022.-spring senior ensemble 2023 served 9 teenagers and gave them the opportunity to work with renown experts in the field to learn the musical based on an unfinished charles dickens story, the mystery of edwin drood, by rupert holmes. The program ran from january through may 2023.-spring junior ensemble 2023 served 27 children and gave them the opportunity to work on a new version of a timeless children's story, wonderland: alice's rock & roll adventure. Book by rachel rockwell. Music by michael mahler. Lyrics by michael mahler and rachel rockwell. Adapted from lewis carroll's alice's adventures in wonderland, and through the looking-glass, and what alice found there. The program ran from january through may 2023.
