Broken Arrow Seniors

The Senior Center provides a variety of activities geared towards increasing socialization and improving physical and emotional health. At the close of 2022, the center was serving 2,081 individuals aged 55 and over. Due to the installation and utilization of new membership software, the center was able to track attendance, and program utilization. Our members averaged approximately 15,191 hours of programming in December 2022, alone. The center expended its services by opening a second site in mid-October 2022 to accommodate the growing need and demand of services for seniors. Services provided include, but are not limited to the following: Educational Seminars; Creative Arts (scrapbooking, creative writing, crafting, painting, crochet, etc.); Music (Guitar lessons, ukulele lessons); Fitness gym; Exercise Classes (cardio-dancing, yoga, chair exercises, strength and tone, line-dancing, etc.); social activities (bingo, bunco, poker, puzzles, dominoes, hymnal singing, etc).
