The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center ("Brookdale") consists of three separate hospitals. These hospitals have strong, historic ties to the communities. They serve as both vital anchor institutions and safety-net providers dedicated to providing high quality healthcare services to the residents of central and northeast brooklyn. In 2022, Brookdale had 23,031 inpatient discharges, 123,982 emergency room visits as well as 360,297 clinic and outpatient surgery visits.
