Provide youth, young adults, active seniors, sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts with the education, skills and experiences related to our Dakota heritage.
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a nationwide program of USA Archery and is a new program being introduced in 2014 at the Outdoor Adventure Center of SD in Brookings. JOAD is open to any youth from 8 to 20 and provides ongoing archery classes for recurve and compound archers to help people progress from beginner to advanced level JOAD Arrowsarchery, at their own pace
Its the mission of the Pistol Rifle Committee to promote a positive, safe environment for people interested in shooting sports. We aim to provide a quality facility and to promote excellence in marksmanship.
