For more than 55 years, our mission has been to empower people with disabilities so they can improve the quality of their lives and have the same access to opportunities as their non-disabled peers. By law, BCID is operated by a majority of people with disabilities, and most of our staff have disabilities as well.The agency provided services to individuals with disabilities, such as peer support, benefits and entitlements counseling, independent living skills training, assistancewith location housing, and providing information about other community resources. In addition, the agency conducts workshops and community education programsrelating to issues that affect people with disabilities.
