Adoptions Through Brother Wolf Animal Rescues adoption program, animals receive needed medical care and support before being adopted out into loving homes. In 2023, Brother Wolf placed 1585 animals into adoptive homes. These animals come to Brother Wolf from families who can no longer care for them (40% of intakes) and from overcrowded shelters in the Western NC region (60% of intakes) where animals face euthanasia simply due to space constraints. In 2023, Brother Wolf transferred in 907 animals from overcrowded shelter partners. In addition, Brother Wolf took in 746 animals from members of our community who were no longer able to keep and/or provide for their animals.
