In 2023 the Oral Health Partnership served 12,225 children during 25,061 appointments. The value of ohp's dental services was 14,127,429 and medicaid reimbursed roughly 42% of that amount. All children served by ohp are on medicaid or are low income uninsured. Ohp is vital to the dental Health in and around Brown County, without these services children would have limited or no options for pain, infections, abscessed and routine dental cleaning associated with dental disease. Making children healthy while young and equipping them with the tools to maintain their Oral Health creates adults with much better Oral Health. The education provided to patients and families changes behavior for generations. Better Oral Health leads to better overall Health, higher self-esteem, fewer school days missed and greater success in the workplace and life.
