Brukner Nature Center is a privately funded nonprofit nature preserve dedicated to wildlife conservation through environmental education, in 2013 over 120,000 people visited Brukner Nature Center to enjoy a hike in the woods, a visit with our wildlife ambassadors or attend an event. We touched over 40,500 people through our innovative educational programming, both during on-site visits and outreach events, we accepted 1,060 wild animals into our wildlife rehabilitation unit from 22 Ohio Counties and successfully released over 33% of them back into the wild.

Brukner Nature Center is a privately funded nonprofit organization promoting the appreciation and understanding of wildlife conservation through education, preservation and rehabilitation. In 2023 almost 120,000 people visited Brukner Nature Center to enjoy a hike in the woods, a visit with our wildlife ambassadors or attend an event. We reached almost 22,000 people through our innovative educational programming, both during on-site visits and outreach events. We accepted 1,303 wild patients into our wildlife rehabilitation unit from 24 Ohio counties and successfully released over 37% of them back into the wild.
