Program areas at Brunswick School
Education program expenses support the over 1,000 students who matriculated from pre-kindergarten through grade 12 during the year. Our students learn at our central greenwich campus along with two more suburban greenwich campuses. Over 250 faculty, administrators and School staff support the education of the whole boy in keeping with the School's purpose.
Student services include the efforts made by the following departments: college guidance, health and wellness, experiential learning, after-school and summer programming, student transportation and the bookstore. These departments complete and support the learning outside the traditional classroom and beyond the academic year. Faculty along with other professionals encourage and provide opportunities for Brunswick boys to develop the creative and independent qualities of mind necessary for intellectual maturity and increased self-confidence.
Athletics are an essential part of the School's mission of educating the whole boy and all of our boys participate in athletic and good sportsmanship endeavors during the academic day. Boys in grades 7 and above participate in interscholastic competitions after-school. Fitness and many sports are supported at the suburban greenwich campuses, which include a hockey rink, a natatorium, a squash facility, tennis courts, a track and field facility and indoor gyms and many natural grass and synthetic fields with organic infill. A boathouse that supports the School's crew program is situated along the byram river in greenwich. The sailing program is run along the long-island sound.
