Program areas at BAAM

BAAM-Arts created community and school art projects that helped students fulfill Maryland's service-learning graduation requirement -- 175 Patterson students earned approximately 3000 hours -- including several students who were in danger of not graduating because of lacking service-learning opportunities.
BAAM-Arts co-founder Nancy Holter received a Social Emotional Learning Innovation Award from Education First, NoVo Foundation and Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors.
BAAM-Arts students designed, created and installed a large mosaic, 21 feet long by five feet high and decorated with huge blue tile letters spelling "PATTERSON" surrounded by tiles depicting the flags of the countries of origin of Baltimore's Patterson High School students, set into a border of mirrored tiles that reflect brilliant flickers of light -- mounted 15 feet above the ground on the Patterson school building.
BAAM-Biz helped several Baltimore community organizers and develop their ideas into potential youth service programs and to coordinate service delivery.
