Provided administrative and financial responsibility of the usda's Child and adult Care food program for participating day Care homes and centers, including monitoring and reimbursing providers in accordance with program guidelines.
Welborn grant - acknowledged, promoted, and encouraged parents as children's first and best teachers and provided the tools to help children develop language and literacy skills with the support of their parents or primary Care givers. Provided a classroom management program (conscious discipline) that provides a whole-program solution for social-emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation.implemented a pilot project modeled on the regional training center program that provided to classrooms across the region, trainings around evidence and research-based best practices in the following areas of early learning: 1. Program structure; 2. Environment; 3. Curriculum and assessment; 4. Health, safety and nutrition; 5. Families and communities. This project guides the local early childhood learning programs to meet the required components of the regulations and support high-quality learning experiences in conjunction with findings by the national institute of early education research (nieer).
Child Care resource & referral - 1) performed parent education services focusing on providing families with information about the different types of early childhood Care and education available that would meet their specific needs; provided access to information about the characteristics of a quality early childhood program and received information about other Community resources.2) supported early childhood programs through professional development in early childhood Care and education; provided assistance with starting the business of a family Child Care home, training on Indiana state licensing requirements, and recommendations for operating a quality early childhood program.3) promoted awarenes of local ccr&r services and provided Community members and organizations with information about supply & demand for early childhood Care and education, including information on the types of programs available, the types of programs parents are asking for, and the gaps between the two.
Ccdf - provided the duties of an intake agent for adminstration of the Child Care development fund voucher program and the on my way pre-k pilot program per state guidelines
