Burbank Arts and educationfoundation was present at many community events across the city to engage thepublic and spread our mission. One highlight was the tak ioka art show featuring thecreations of a Burbank artist that passed away leaving behind a legacy of beautifulart. We hosted a reception that had his art on display and engaged burbankfamilies. Another highlight was the Burbank holiday in the park event, which bringsthousands of community members together, providing an opportunity to engage thecommunity about our mission while increasing brand awareness. We grew our socialmedia community by increasing interaction and posts on all platforms in which weparticipate.lastly, baef hosted the 2023 state of the schools event that highlights the successof the Burbank unified school district, and shares its goals, initiatives, and progress.the Foundation's work directly impacts the state of Education in Burbank byensuring that grants and community support are channeled into innovative andinclusive projects that align with the broader goals of the school district. Thiscontinuous investment fosters educational equity and innovation within busd,supporting the long-term success of public Education in the city of Burbank.
